Planet of the Apes Promotional Newspapers 1968--1973

For each Planet of the Apes film released, Fox produced promotional newspapers as theater giveaways to promote the films.

Planet paper — 1968	Beneath paper — 1970
Escape paper — 1971	Conquest paper — 1972
Battle paper — 1973

Fan-created newspaper for the TV series

For each of the five original POTA films, FOX produced and distributed promotional "Heralds" (fictional newspapers) that local theaters distributed to advertise the release of each new film. However, no Herald was ever produced for to promote the TV series.

To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the series, Simian Scrolls, Mark Rogers, Kassidy Rae, Glen Scheetz, and JamesA1102 brought together their creative talents and produced a four page TV version of Fox's "Heralds" as they imagine it would have been back in the summer of 1974.
