Pieces. Vintage original (3) piece female chimpanzee ensemble including
(1) olive green linen tunic dress with short, vented sleeves, brown linen
belt strap with 2-snap closure at waist, and brown embossed faux leather
yoke with 5-snap closure, with internal bias label reading
"20TH CENTURY FOX", (1) olive green linen tunic dress with
short, vented sleeves, brown linen belt strap with 2-snap closure at
waist, brown faux leather yoke with 5-snap closure, silver chain trim
around yoke, and melted silver pieces at center of yoke, with internal
bias label reading "FOX", and (1) pair of brown linen character boots
in the shape of chimpanzee feet with felted soles and a black zipper
closure at center back. Ensembles like this one appear on the female
chimpanzee inhabitants encountered by astronaut George Taylor (Charlton Heston) and
his crew after they crash on a strange but familiar planet in the
classic science fiction film Planet of the Apes. Exhibits signs of

at interior, (1) pair of matching olive green linen pants with
front zipper and button closure, 2-side adjusters at hips, and
4-brown buttons for suspenders at inner waist, with original
Western Costume Company bias label at interior, and (1) pair of
olive green character boots in the shape of chimpanzee feet with
felted soles and ties for adjustment. Ensembles like this one appear

long-sleeved linen tunic with zipper front closure, with original
Western Costume Company bias label at interior, (1) matching pair
of indigo linen pants with front zipper and button closure, 2-side
adjusters at hips, and ties at ankles with original Western Costume
Company bias label at interior, (1) deep purple faux leather vest
with horizontal piping across chest and back, piping trim around
armholes, and zipper and 9-snap closure at front, with original
Western Costume Company bias label at interior, (1) russet linen
crossbody strap with 2-brown faux leather holster components and
a metal lobster claw hook at one end, (1) pair of black faux leather
gloves with piping detail, and (1) pair of deep purple faux leather
tabi-style character boots with rubber soles. Ensembles like this one

Costume Company bias label, (1) russet linen crossbody strap with
2-brown faux leather holster components and a metal lobster claw
hook at one end, (1) pair of black, faded to deep green, jersey
gloves with indigo-painted vinyl gauntlets, and (1) deep brown gorilla
