This Planet of the Apes Movie Viewer came with two filmstrips.

Filmstrips are hi-res scans. Ok to zoom in to see individual frames.

Filmstrip #1 is excerpted from "Terror on the Planet of the Apes," pages 12-16

Filmstrip #2 is excerpted from "Terror on the Planet of the Apes," pages 17-22

Both are from the Marvel Planet of the Apes magazine, No.1, August 1974.

I folded the card in fours for storage. What was I thinking?!

Also, when I got this 40+ years ago, I remember being bummed about the filmstrips not being clips of the movie or even the TV show.

Angelo Regalado created this video version of the Chemtoy movie viewer. He wrote:

For years, I've been wanting to see what [the Chemtoy Movie Viewer] was all about. I am sending you two files, one with images of the Planet of the Apes Chemtoy, but taken from the first two issues of the Planet of the Apes comics, because the quality is better. I've added just a few more squares to "compose" the story a little bit more. I'm also sending a video that I made with those images.
