1968 Planet of the Apes Movie-Worn Gorilla Soldier Costume
with Jacket & Pants
In the mid-2000s, Rittenhouse had planned a third set of Planet of the Apes
trading cards. This set was going to include the Costume Relic Card for the
"Soldier Ape Jacket & Pants." This set was bought by
Rittenhouse in 2004 from a prop auction. The last photo shows a
sample of what the trading card was going to look like and where
each piece of the uniform was going to go.
This set was acquired by Rob Amantea in 2024.
