Apes Exhibits at the Stars Hall of Fame Wax Museum

Contributed by Hunter

My first trip to Disney World and the Orlando, FL, area was in August 1976. One of the sites we visited was the Stars Hall of Fame Wax Museum in Orlando. My favorite display was this Planet of the Apes diorama. The museum no longer exists. This picture is one I took with my mom's Kodak Instamatic, which used 126 film.

Here's another photo from December 1976 from the website Florida Memory.

Lance Brick, the Monster Craftsman, sent me these wonderful photos of the Apes figures from the Orlando Stars Hall of Fame. Lance wrote that he took these photos when he helped disassemble the figures and pack them to be shipped to actor and collector Daniel Roebuck, who now owns the figures. They were featured in an episode of MeTV's Collector's Call a few years ago.
