Werner Keppler is a makeup
artist who holds the distinction of having worked on all five Planet of the
Apes films. In March 2017, he sent Maz Adams a collection of photos from
his personal collection. Most of these have never been publicly displayed
before now.
The photos as Werner sent them were showing their age, with color fading, color
tinting, and scratches. Dave Ballard graciously worked his magic to clean
the photos up quite a bit.
