A lone gorilla
     Full of loathing
     Struggles through wasteland
     Deserts and forests

     When he is pursued
     By humans
     Fear takes over his being
     Running to nowhere  

     He shoots at the beasts
     But more keep coming
     A long line of
     Neverending humans

     But he persists
     With his struggle
     For survival

     For the time 
     Of the gorilla
     Has arrived

     And Gideon
     Continues his journey
     Because their fate
     Is in his hands
     Along with the
     Destiny of simians.
