I particularly like this bust because the subject matter is less usual. There's plenty of Corneliuses, Ziras and Zaiuses out there...not so many Milos. Also unusual (for Apemania), this bust was supplied in three pieces, which turned out to be a godsend because it gave me the opportunity to pack some putty under his chin to raise his head up a little to what was, purely personally, a more pleasing angle.

The most difficult part of painting this bust was the white spacesuit. White is a very difficult colour (for me). No shading, and it just looks unpainted...too much, and it just looks grubby.
