The "M" costume. Previously used in the Apes films, this jacket was modified for use in the Planet of the Apes television series. It was never really made clear as to what rank this gorilla held. He is referred to in a couple of episodes as captain and in others as commander. Unfortunately the writers never really seemed to keep the details straight from one episode to another. Regardless, I still loved the show.
