These buckles up for sale now are very rare to find
still attached to the belt! They are also selling a
"Galen" belt which isn't even in the ad! How I wish I
had actually sent off for one or all of these oh so
long ago.....as the ad states, for $4.99 one could get
the belt, a matching western bolo tie AND a free
      glossy photo!
I have NEVER seen a bolo up for sale.....I wonder if
they actually even made them! and does anyone know
about the photos? Did anyone order one of these as a
kid (thereby saving yourself about $145 bucks!

There’s a LOT of KISS stuff there too, so I think this could be Mark Smolen’s collection.

      I’ll ask him...

It's ready to go, the timing of it is up to our publisher.  He's not been in touch with me about for a couple of weeks, so I'm not sure of when the schedule is specifically.  I'm fairly sure it's SUPPOSED to be on sale in Febuary, though I'm not sure why that's the release date.

      Dear Michael Whitty,

I wondered if you can answer me a question? What is the difference between the white edge and black edge original
POTA cards (1967?) I don't have many but I've noticed on ebay that there seems to be two different sets?
      Hope you are well

I am very sure it is NOT Sausville... I haven't looked at the seller's items you're talking about, but if the seller's name isn't Sausy (or something like that), it's not Chris Sausville... Besides, his collection certainly is not in the $250,000 range, not even the $25,000 range...

        Dear Michael,

Thanks for that info. Been out of action for a while due to work and stuff. Hope you are well. I love reading the site when I can. Another question Im afraid, Do you know of any site or collector who might have the autograph cards from the inkworks "Archives collection" I need number three and never seem to see it on eBay?

        Hi John

The black-edged cards are from England and they are actually quite a bit smaller in dimensions than the US cards.

        Dear Michael Whitty,

I wondered if you can answer me a question? What is the difference between the white edge and black edge original

POTA cards (1967?) I don't have many but I've noticed on ebay that there seems to be two different sets?

        Hope you are well

I was wondering a few things about Return to the Planet of the apes and found,

        1. Isn't the theory of time thrust kind of a dumb mission premise  "We conclude Dr. Stanton theory of time thrust is correct, man can propel himself into the future." Ah don't we do that every second of the day of our lives, wouldn't it have been more of an accomplishment to go back in time?

        2. Did the ship crash in the Ocean or not? Judy says the landscape looks like New Mexico except for the ocean. Later it's referred to as a Lagoon, and even a lake, so which was it?

        3. Judy tells Bill and Jeff "If you get out alive, give this to my sister Lilly" and gives Bill what looks like an engagement ring. In the third episode Jeff not Bill gives her a ring to bring her back to reality but it looks like an entirely different ring? Did he pawn it off or something?

        4. Just what was Zira and Corneous' job anyway? They act like animal psychologist then later the mix dangerous chemicals as if there scientists? So what are they?

        5. Dr. Zaius tells Zira that she plays a dangerous game protecting Blue Eyes, but later he tells her only Blue Eyes could have stolen the air craft from General Urko? In the very next episode he thanks Zira for taking the aircraft from Urko and forgets all about Blue Eyes ever being involved?

I have to admit some of the episodes are really good, but then some are just stupid. Have you seen the Bird Monster? Did they run out of ideas at that point?

The show was for kids. When you over analize it as an adult of course
it all seems quite stupid. Hence the magic of being a kid. My son
never questions any of these points while watching them with me. Even
        the bird monster. ;)

I was wondering if anyone can help me here, apparently back around 1964 Pierre Boulle's Monkey Planet/ Planet of the Apes was printed (probably in an abridged version?) in a magazine which I think was called Saga.
Does anyone here know if this is the correct magazine and if it is can anyone let me know the number or date of the issue?

        Thanks,

Can you send  me your  email address? I've been trying to send you some photos of my custom ape figures, including the box Neil Foster drew the artwork for and the whitty@... address keeps bouncing.

Thanks, Neil. Wherever you're headed with the little hovercraft, a decayed city is a great place to start. My favourite episodes of the series were the ones that showed the apes' civilization, followed by the ones that showed ruined artifacts from "futuristic" humans.

Very cool. I just love me some Foster-drawn ruins. Don't recognise
them specifically, but I assume they're down-under. Sydney, perhaps?

Yeah – but they meant to say “man can propel himself into the future at a higher rate”

Still, going backwards is the REAL challenge isn’t it?

Thanks, Neil. Wherever you're headed with the little hovercraft, a decayed city is a great place to start. My favourite episodes of the series were the ones that showed the apes' civilization, followed by the ones that showed ruined artifacts from "futuristic" humans.

One major difference is that there will be technology in this story.

Now how far we go with the technology, I am unsure.

                It’s not a crossover!

But there’s a few less than subtle differences!
