If it's going to be more of the same they may as well not bother.  The problem is the people who could actually tell Zanuck where he went wrong don't have access to him, and even if he heard them, I'm not sure he'd listen.

As for Zanuck... over on the yahoo potafanfic group there's someone who supposedly is helping to co-write the new sequel / working on ideas. She said she has access to Zanuck. I don't know if she's legit or not, but if she is, you may be able to tell her a few things you'd like to see in the sequel. She actually asked that very question a short time ago. Sorry, I made a goof. She wasn't asking for ideas, but she asked something like... "what would you want to see in POTA 2... it's already written, I just want to confirm our efforts are going to be received well..." or words to that effect. I don't really remember. It's all archived in the group but I don't feel like looking for it right now.

Anyway, she seems convincing, I really hope she is on the POTA staff. That would at least confirm the few good juicy facts she let out about the new movie. Guess there's no way to be sure. I can only hope.
