There are too many Simpsons PotA references/spoofs to mention them all
here, so I'll pick another one that nobody else seems to have
mentioned yet. In one episode, Springfield's children are all busy
playing in the park when their parents arrive to take them to church.
There then follows a fantastic chase sequence which re-enacts the hunt
scene from Planet perfectly.

I never got a reply from Fox until Oliver Stone said he was going to "reimagine" POTA, then I got not just one letter but two, from the Vice President yet.  Still, never got the Collector's Edition laserdisc I begged for, and how about all those extras in the DVDs?  Yeah, Foxy 'ol Fox.
