This strip looks fantastic.
I wonder if we should portray Ursus' wife as a silly, brainless female and

Ladies in this group, what are you thinking the characteristics of "Mrs.

She uses her brains, not her gender, to

*** I agree with those who don't think it's likely that a female ape
would (or, would be compelled to) change her entire name to be a
feminine-equivalent. After all, the only female gorilla name we know
of is Urko's wife, Elta -- and since she ain't called "Urka" that
should put to rest this entire notion!
I was only tryin' to suggest that a gorilla named (by his
parents) "Ursus" just might feel inclined to "get to know" a female
gorilla who had just happened to have been named "Ursula": the
similarity of their names might be the initial spark that gets him to
think about her...
But she wouldn't have been given a different name by her parents and
then later be forced to take the feminized version of her fiance's

That’s the way I see it and that’s
why I love the name Livia too – Tony Soprano’s mother’s role
is a very controlling, manipulative, greedy, nasty person and she’s about
the only personality type I believe could stay married to a murderer, and raise
more.
Also a strong male does need an extremely
strong partner (male OR female!). Even if this partner IS doing the
ironing, washing and cooking – she/he really organises the others’
life so he can do what he does. The
same is transferable too – a strong female will also need a strong
partner….male or female! OR
no partner!

I agree about the name change – it
was something I thought of and mentioned without too much more thinking. I still think it’s an interesting
point that maybe if you have a culture where they have only one name (or DO they?), the name might be changed in marriage (particularly
when the premise is to “monkey” human culture).
BUT…..what’s the connection to

*** I agree
with those who don't think it's likely that a female ape
would (or,
would be compelled to) change her entire name to be a
feminine-equivalent.
After all, the only female gorilla name we know
of is Urko's
wife, Elta -- and since she ain't called "Urka" that
should put
to rest this entire notion!
I was only
tryin' to suggest that a gorilla named (by his
parents)
"Ursus" just might feel inclined to "get to know" a female
gorilla who
had just happened to have been named "Ursula": the
similarity
of their names might be the initial spark that gets him to
think about
her...
But she
wouldn't have been given a different name by her parents and
then later
be forced to take the feminized version of her fiance's
name
("Ursula") when she married him. The name "Elta" refers to
Urko's WIFE,

A race of female apes that can reproduce themselves? . . .
Who's been peeking at my screenplay? Well, it's not
quite as simple as that, but that's pretty close. But don't
worry. They aren't gay. It's all done asexually with
cloning simply a practicality of deep space travel. You
think space is big, you have no idea! Even if you live a
really long time and going really fast, it takes a really
long time to get anywhere. Even many of the stars you
see at night have burnt out, aeons ago. We're looking
into the past. Wooooooo . . . Creepy, isn't it? Almost
as creepy as the thought that there are other, less
friendly species, who want to propagate as well. : I
Look for this exciting major motion picture coming to

Nope! The first half is her autobiography,
and the second half is the cookbook. It's
very unique. I don't know anyone else who
has tied food in with their life story. She
inherited he Mother's Recipes, and collected
new ones from Family, Friends and colleges
in The Biz. As she picks up a new dish in
her life it's referenced to the page number in
the back. For example when she talks about
the difficulties of putting on and removing the
make up, she mentions that her makeup artist,
Leo Litito, gave her a good recipe for stuffed
mushrooms, and lists it in the back on page 204.
The 'Going Ape' chapter is about 15 pages and
there's a picture on almost every page. About
half of which are getting her made up step by step.
There are also some other POTA pics throughout
the book. And you can try out some of her recipes
as well as some from other celebs, including her
friend Coleman Dowell's mocha mousse, which is
called, Mousse Kim Hunter! It's a fun book that I can
recommend highly to Kim Hunter and POTA fans alike.

Perhaps the Red Dwarf movie will work. <.html

"Livia" comes from the Hebrew "Olivia," meaning Peace. It's funny
that in the show that you refer to she is controlling, manipulative,
greedy and nasty. Doesn't sound like they did their homework!

I found the 3 I know of.
There’s the one you mention, there’s
another where they go to the movies and “Planet of the Clams” is
playing.
Then there is the one where the go to hire
a movie (VHS I THINK!!!) and “Planet of the Clams” is on the shelf.
I copied all these today – I’ll
send them to you soon Neil as I’m sure they would make great home page
pics.

All I've got to say is that those mutant altar boys sure can be sloppy when they're preparing for a mass.

Yes, this is true!
This is Caesar’s timeline and nearly EVERYTHING is altered – mainly
by the “alter boys”!

fast? Did you feel there was no interest in your new story? I've been
talking up the "new Planet of the Apes strip from the people who made
that really cool Beware the Beast story" to my friends at my local
comic shop expecting an action filled war between the gorillas and
the humans caused by the time capsule find... and what do we get? THE
END. You guys suck. (just half-kidding) I am really disapponted
the build up didn't pay off the way I was hoping. I really liked your
work and I hope the sudden end is because you've gotten excited by a
new comic idea that you feel more stongly about. If not. You just
SUCK. Still your fan. The good Dr. Zaius Davis <.html
