cross-over you could be reading continuously to your son's class for
the next several years. From Sesame Street, to The Muppet Fugitives
of Central City, to the Return Novels, to TV Series Novels, to the
movie novelizations, to Boulle's Monkey Planet. (THEN the brains in
a jar comics!)

....I also like the pic of Z&C on page 9...Can
somebody up load the original to the files?
....nice interviews with Ploog and the Sideshow guy.
Also LOVED the Herald....

Not true. I recently bought some
old retro games for my PS 2, you
know the games that were new
about 20 years ago? I was doing
terrible at games I use to be pretty
good at. Then I realized it was the
controller. The controls today are
far more sensitive then the old joy

After I allowed for that, my scores
went back to a respectable level.

Sorry to keep bringing this up, but www.tvshowsondvd.com says Rhino has
officially announced LOTL Season 3, and pushed it up to late April. The extras
are an interview and episode commentary by Ron Harper (probably angling for a
role in the LOTL movie). It's a 2 disc set for $29.95 (with sales when it's new
that might be $19.95, a good deal for a whole season of a TV show). - - -

i gave it to my younger brother for his birthday. (in mid 90s we enjoyed the pota tv show which i taped off american sci-fi channel).
later that night, he and his wife gave me a bag of clothes, and in the bag was a pin from pota 2001. it was the one with the blonde girl. (daena?)

Immediately following 'Values' we began work on the unused script "The Hostage". But

Sorry mate I’m not loyal!
Actually, I’ve been a right bloody floozy!
I haven’t even had the decency to
comment when the new chapters of Within are
posted. I just read them and keep
all the feedback to myself, despite you explaining constantly that their goal
is to generate conversation.
Hell, I don’t even POST on this
group! I post on the other groups, but
I always find a reason (or excuse) to explain why I don’t post on the DG.
Does that mean I am going to miss out on seeing the rest of the comic?
It is really unfair that you guys want me to
do anything other than take, take, take!
I protest!

.htmlSome of you know, that I do repro packaging for Mego figures. Tops on that
list was the Planet Of The Apes packaging. Not so much the American cards
that most of the figures came on (even though I can make those type of cards
for those who want it) but the rarer and splashier designed boxes and
British cards.
Some time ago, I restored all four of the known Planet Of The Apes boxes
(there are 6 characters listed on the side of the box but only four
characters have so far been found in boxes). So here are the Galen, Urko,
Ursus and Astronaut box replicas I make:
http://www.megostore.com/mc/images/usergallery/980112655079.jpg
The other Mego Apes packaging I've been waiting to get was the Palitoy style
card. It's a more dramatic and splashy piece of Apes packaging than the US
cards. It also has nicely rendered cameos pictures of mostly the TV show
characters (Zira is pictured, but she more resembles Lisa, the ape played by
Natalie Trundy. The Dr. Zaius picutres looks like the TV version).
So, here is the Palitoy Planet Of The Apes card replica (sans a few changes
like the character title will be centered over the bubble a bit better):
http://www.megostore.com/mc/images/usergallery/infgigjphjphjphjphjphjphjphjphjphjphjphjphjphjphjphjphjphjphjphjphjphjphjphjphjphjph.jpg
It's great to finally be able to make this card.
Best,

Some great

.html YOU RAT BASTARD! I get my Planet of the Apes fix from here. I don't
get any of the Fanzine's because I've been a little disappointed in
the ones I've gotten. Some seem to be just list of useless info.
typed by people with too much free time. I don't say this to offend
anyone working on there Fanzine's or fan's of them. It's just my
opinion. I have never been more impressed by a group of fans the way
I have been by this site. I like everyone I've been in contact with
and have truly felt that there were like-minded Apes fans out there.
I hate to hear when you guys get discouraged or that you feel that
your efforts go unnoticed. So please, don't worry about the crap
that's being put out there by other people. Take pride in all you've
done. After all, this is Planet of the Apes. The fact that after all
these years there is still as much interest as there is,is truly
amazing. If there is anything I can do to help... just ask.

.html Last night I watched Airport 75 on TV, the first time I had seen it
since it came out.
I noticed it had a few 'Apes' stars in it. Of course Charlton Heston
was in it, Austin Stoker had a small part and I am sure I saw Linda
Harrison as well though I couldn't find her name in the credits.
Are there any other movies where more than one of the actors from
the Apes series have appeared together?
I know Heston and Edward G. Robinson were both in Soylent green but
that really doesn't count does it as they were only in the original
make up test together.

Summerland for awhile but changed it back before
Cocoon.

Try to find a 1965 movie called THE WAR LORD. It was directed by Franklin J. Schaffner, stars Charlton Heston, and Maurice Evans is in it, and even Woodrow "Dr. Maximus" Parfrey has a bit part.

I was scrounging through a used book store today and
found Phil Donahue's autobio.......here is the pic of
him made up as an Orangutang with Frank Westmore.
Interesting the show is dated April 29, 1976...two
years after the TV series
