Despite the frustrating lack of apes I'm still enjoying the show. I
have to confess I was a little worried after part one, I'd felt you'd

up against. Beauty is in the ear of the beholder, and while this POTA
may never be beautiful it's a valiant attempt to at least TRY and DO

Listening between the lines all I can hear is people having fun –
People expressing their love for POTA in a unique and personal manner
and perhaps that's what's been missing from APES for far too long.
Perhaps we all got old and - God forbid - SERIOUS! perhaps we should
all start having fun again.

Getting down and DOING something like this is bloody hard work. It's
endless hours, listening and re-listening, over and over and over,
until you're sick of it. Until you lose all objectivity, until your
driven almost to despair from every last soul-destroying and reluctant
compromise that has been forced upon what you were hoping to achieve.

Thanks to our good friend Brendan, we've uploaded several pictures from the Planet of the Apes exhibit at the Spring Memorabilia Show held yesterday at the NEC in Birmingham, England.

Brendan got great shots of Linda Harrison & Buck Kartalian as well as John & Dave from Simian Scrolls and Les Hemstock who's collection was displayed at the event.

Bill Blake and Paula Crist have both confirmed that Roddenberry' s
re-tooling of APES would have somehow involved the characters of Zira
and Cornelius. Rather than re-imagine* the TV show, Fox execs voted to
scrap it instead.
