Gary
Owens was an on-air personality at KMPC who was known for making things up.
Mainly, words. This, however, was real.
Gary was hosting the most Beautiful
Ape Contest for the release of Battle
for the Planet of the Apes. Dominique Green, contestant No. 2, was the big
winner that day in Century
City .

I too was surprised to find my BLAM package waiting for me when I got home from work. The "Omega" poster is fantastic & made it worth ordering alone. The "Alpha" poster,
cards & dog tags were like an amazing bonus. Really excited about this project & big thanks to Drew for letting those of us who missed out on Comic Con. this year the chance to still be included. My only complaint is
that my prints recieved small tears at the bottom obviously during shipping.

Nice picture of Gary Owens (also of Laugh-In fame).
But it says that it is a 1972 promo and also that it was for the release
of Battle. Either the year is wrong or they were promoting one of the
earlier films.

You are all screwed up in the head. At the age of 7 I had no concept
of that. What's wrong with you? Kiefer
Sutherland's first love was Thumper's Girlfriend from Bambi. To be honest I
did have a first love before that, when I was 4. Mrs. Peel from the Avengers. I
guess now you'll think I'm weird for loving a woman in a leather catsuit at that
age. If anthropomorphism is beyond you I'll give you another
example. Somewhere around that same age I thought Tinkerbell was the
hottest cartoon ever drawn. Pre Jessica Rabbit of course. There
size is the insurmountable issue. Taylor was too ugly. Thumper's
Girlfriend is not the kind of bunny you'd find in Playboy. There's always
something isn't there. Love is beyond sex. Anime's have big
eyes because they learned to animate from Disney. But if you saw
a real person like that they'd be a exagerated grotesque. The makeups
were changed many times. Why? To make them more appealing.
Read your POTA history.

I'm not talking about when you were 7 years old idiot and I said very clearly I do understand loving and animal so 99% of your bullshit rant has already been proven invalid.
You and "Thy Pentacles" have both often openly spoken about "making hot monkey love" and that's where I draw the line. I think it's disgraceful and you can pretend all you want you never said
it - it's on record.
Go and read your own history you fucking moron.

I don’t really want the group T.
It’s more grief than fun.
However the last time you set one up (the
POTADGDG) I’m fairly sure it had one member – you.
Please feel free to try harder but until
then if it’s so bad here why don’t you just fuck off?

Here is a photo of my new backpack. The color is a beautiful chimp green and there is actually dark brown fake leather on it. I may pluck off the metal badge on there now and glue on Landon's dogtag or just
recreate a miniature chimp hieroglyph in dark brown leather. This backpack will do for now until I recreate a movie-accurate one.
I keep checking Target to see if they will reduce the price of this bowl. I think it would be something that Zira and Cornelius would have had. It's still pricing at $29 or something ridiculous like that:

I'm currently nursing a really bad cold--but this weekend I am planning to take some spectacular photos of the great General Ursus. I will post them on the Sideshow Freaks board. You will not be
disappointed, as the Hot Toys General Ursus totally blows the Sideshow General Ursus out of the water. It's like apples and oranges.

I just wanted to thank Apemania for providing me with child-sized gorilla foam latex appliances. These I am going to put on spandex hoods and make deluxe pullovers. Bri was thoughtful
enough and threw in an extra one to practice with.
In addition, Bri gifted my children with their own General Ursus helmets and a Cornelius plaque each, to practice painting on. I am going to have to hide the helmets for now because I won't have time to
recreate the good general's armor.
I'm going to make you so proud of us, Bri.
Thank you so much, with all my heart.

Yes. I trashcanned the spam crap sent from non-members who -- don't ask me how -- are somehow able to post such garbage. I'm not enough of a computer whiz to figure out how to block any and all such junk, so I
wait until it gets there and then delete it. Until recently I hadn't perused the message board there, and didn't realize how many of those "biker chick"-type posts were cluttering up the joint.
If you're upset that I deleted your response -- and I think there was only one -- to that biker chick spam post, well, I can't for the life of me fathom why you'd be upset. If your post had been about POTA or
even about some controversial political or religious topic thematically touching on POTA, I most certainly wouldn't have junked it. But your response didn't have anything to do with POTA, and all it did was
encourage more spamming from the douchebag who sent those spam posts in the first place.
What if some loser decides to try to post links to kiddie-porn sites on the POTA PHENOMENON message board? Should I just let it sit there and possibly get the Feds on my case for providing pedophiles with a place to find
their illegal links?
I created the POTA PHENOMENON group so as to have a place where I could post POTA-related stuff without the worries of some other group's moderator(s) censoring me or anybody else. If you think that I hypocritically
censored you by deleting your response to a spam post concerning biker chicks, well, I don't think that'll fly. For what it's worth, I don't think that that's what you're getting at. I sure hope
not.
I hope this explanation satisfies. Peace.
Patrick
P.S. I got a delivery from the dudes at BLAM! a few days ago, with the two posters of cover art for the new CONSPIRACY POTA book. Haven't gotten the dog-tags yet, though. I'm assuming they'll arrive with the
other stuff in that promo deal.

Rocks!!!
I just
wanted to thank Apemania for providing me with child-sized gorilla foam latex
appliances. These I am going to put on spandex hoods and make deluxe
pullovers. Bri was thoughtful enough and threw in an extra one to
practice with.
In addition, Bri gifted my children with their own General Ursus helmets and a
Cornelius plaque each, to practice painting on. I am going to have to
hide the helmets for now because I won't have time to recreate the good
general's armor.
