Not sure I'll be that crazy about I.Q., but SECONDS is a must.
And here's one I'm sure Sir Bosco is interested in:

.htmlDead on about the Year 2 SPACE CD. That's another that been a long time in the making. It was origianlly scheduled 2yrs ago but ran into road blocks. Horrible that the composer didn't live to see it. I hope this time the general mix is better than the previously released one.
Keeping my fingers crossed ESCAPE is delivered by the weekend for everyone -
won't that been nice if a number of us all get it knowing there are others listening to the same CD :)

Looks like Fox is cracking the books. They've
got a production of "Gulliver's Travels" (starring Jack Black) in the pipeline
(what are they smoking in that pipeline?) and now they plan to do "'300'-like"
retelling of the Moses story, with a "'Braveheart' feel". I think it's fair to
say that Charlton Heston is the most famous screen Moses and it's one of his
signature roles (so ON TOPIC!). The film is being produced by Peter Chernin, who
ran Fox forever and now has a golden parachute production deal with them.
Also in Fox news, Bryan Singer says he's in
talks with Fox to return to the "X-Men" fold. Of those flicks, his are generally
considered the best. He says he likes to "trick audiences into thinking they're
seeing fireworks, but they're learning about themselves and listening to what I
have to say". He adds: "The excitement about working in science fiction and
fantasy is - the stories, if they are good, are about the human condition".
Sounds similar to something Franklin Schaffner said about POTA. Maybe if "X-Men"
doesn't work out, Singer can walk down the hall and consider the new POTA. It
could do worse.

What I recall is that someone asked why the "Shopping Spree" music wasn't included in the Escape Suite on the Planet soundtrack CD. The explanation was that Goldsmith hadn't composed it. I don't remember who said it or even if were in this group. It could have been elsewhere.

Very hard to get main characters and I had

Mine also had the ORIGINAL Cel background.
One thing I REALLY regret selling but I

.html were arguing about the german lobby cards and i went to ebay and they have 8 conquest cards which is about one third of what was available. my point being that im looking at the ebay cards and only one is the same as my german cards and i have about 39 of them. mine were aquired in 1974 so their must of been a lot of reprints and who knows whatever variations of the first german set. lets not quivil over this stuff. all im saying is when it comes to foreing cards their are many variations of the usa[official] photos[you notice that most cards are about 1 to 60 seconds later in pose of the american] the usa took all the photos and gave variations to other nations so they can tell them apart from one another. in other words a german did not take a german card and so on..john m <.html

.html.html Here's a good seller on ebay that makes photos into posters. Bought a POTA Photo Poster the other day and the final product is really well made.
The posters are the $24.99 items. A lot of POTA Photo Posters to choose from.

.htmlGreat and awesome fantastic news, guys (and girls)!! I just received in my paws the replacement vest. It's taken since early September for them to fix this. I guess it was a misunderstanding on their part. They sent me the regular reply e-mail, "sorry we can't replace the item for you since your receipt is over 30 days old" when I asked them to repair the vest. They did not realize that my receipt was for a prepurchase I had made in December 2008 and the Captain was not delivered until the end of July 2009. Well, hearing that e-mail reply from Hot Toys just made me livid. I'm so glad that they can fix it. You always hear about great customer service from Hot Toys, and I was getting the short end of the stick and just not a happy chimp until it got fixed.

If you purchased on a card
you should have return &
refund rights. Of course it
won't cover shipping, but . . .
at least you could get a shot
at a better specimen of gorilla.

| Subject: OT: "X-Men" marks the spot for Fox |
.html
.html
The producer of the "X-Men" movies has
provided an update and since this is Fox's first love I thought I'd give a
quick scorecard. I'm no "X-Men" fan but this stuff is relevant. A new POTA will
have to walk through the "X-Men" mine field.
"Wolverine 2": Wolverine is still to be
reckoned with even though folks seemed disappointed with the last one. This one
takes place, and will probably be filmed in, Japan. This is the story they
wanted to do for "Wolverine 1" but Tom Rothman insisted on an origin story. This
movie looks to be next.
""X-Men: First Class": The early days of the
characters in school, being compared to the "darker" "Harry Potter" movies.
Don't know if there's plans for Patrick Stewart to be in this. I think this is
the one original director Bryan Singer is looking at. Right now it's still being
written (and we know how that goes!)
"Deadpool": A spin-off movie franchise for
the guy who was introduced in "Wolverine". Fans complained about his portrayal
in that, but this will be a complete reboot, described as "a dark, snarky, very
funny movie"; it's "the hardest story to tell". He keeps a woman at his
place and regularly tortures her, so it sounds different.
"Magneto": This has been long in development,
the origin story of the "X-Men" villain. Deals with Nazi concentration camps.
This is the least likely of the movies to get made.
And of course these could all have sequels.
And Fox is rebooting "Fantastic 4". Everybody's superhero crazy. I've heard that
Fox has so many franchises in development they've had to expand their licensing
department beyond what it's already been. The more things change, the more they
stay the same.

That's cool.
The photo poster I got was Taylor and Nova on the beach (Statue of Libery Scene), the rare angle shot of Taylor, Nova and the horse.
They did a really decent job with it and printed it on really thick kodak paper. Quite literately a photograph poster. Not that cheap thin poster paper.
I love it!

It was bad enough that James Naughton is the

joke, the Lee Majors "bionic" hearing aid.
I can still remember fighting with my friends
over whether we'd watch the POTA TV show or "The Six Million Dollar Man". Time
has gone too fast. : ( <.html <.html

i got the picture that says taylor and nova at end on beach in a 16x24 size in my audio room, like you said thick kodak.be carefull i have many photos and sometimes the image is reversed. back in the 70s their was a plethora of 35mm slides at various postershops and it seems this place scoffed them all up. they were going for 5 bucks a piece in 1976 and as a teenager i just got blowups made for 5 bucks each, not knowing the real value was in buying the slides.another missed opportunity. john m.. pota68@... <.html

.html.html Same one I bought. I wasn't sure if it was going to be a straight up or a sideways poster because the photo is perfectly sqaure.
Turned out to be a sideways (widescreen) poster. That made it even better.
I've always liked that rare angle shot of the end.
